The Philippine Association of Communication Educators (PACE) and ABS-CBN Corporation are pleased to invite your institution to the 13th Pinoy Media Congress (PMC) which will be held from 7 to 9 March at the Paraclete Auditorium, College of the Holy Spirit Manila at 163 E. Mendiola, 1005 Manila.

PMC is the country’s biggest and longest-running annual gathering of communication students, professors, experts, and practitioners. This year’s theme, “Media and Democracy,” recognizes the crucial role of media in the public sphere, in light of the upcoming midterm elections.

The two-day conference will cover discussions on journalism, media, and entertainment in today’s digital world, with special topics on the elections. The third day, which will be held at ABS-CBN, will feature workshops and studio tours, among others.

We invite the active participation of delegates from your institution. The program, Commission on Higher Education endorsement, and registration details are available here.

PACE institutional member schools may send up to 50 students. PACE individual members may bring up to 25 students.

To reach out to our Visayas- and Mindanao-based schools, PMC will gather hundreds of communication students at the University of San Agustin, Iloilo City from where we will do an interactive live broadcast. This year, we are bringing this arrangement up another notch by having some of the PMC speakers at Iloilo City.

There is a modest registration fee of P1,000 for all participants, which includes conference kit (first come, first served basis), ID, certificate, and AM/PM snacks and lunch (for two days).
